Customer service and traffic management

Green Cargo's Customer Service centres in Hallsberg and Malmö handle the daily interface with our customers. Customers can place their bookings through these centres and receive confirmations and information. Each customer has its own Customer Service team based on the industry in which it is active. A good understanding of the needs of our customers is a prerequisite for a good relationship between the customer and Green Cargo. In the event of disruptions, information to the customer is a priority.

After Green Cargo's freight trains pass safety testing and are approved for departure, the responsibility for traffic management is transferred to the Swedish National Rail Administration. Green Cargo's own traffic management provides support, ensures that drivers and locomotives are onsite, handles problems that arise during the journey and, if traffic comes to a halt somewhere along the track, prepares alternative routes and information for the customers. If problems arise with a locomotive, Green Cargo's traffic management provides the locomotive driver with expert assistance.
